The exhibition “Melting Boundary” examines social and cultural commonalities between neighboring countries. Present situations of borderline issues are encounters. They direct us in this time of Integrated conditions of politics, economics and social needs. The world endlessly bears witness to the transforming of nature and human beings, as well as the shifting of reinvented technologies. Visual Art goes beyond the techniques, art forms, mediums and “isms” that place boundaries around it. Visual Art aims to reinvent itself by experimenting with all these things in unpredictable ways.

Featuring works by visual artist Napat Vatanakuljara, who graduated in BFA painting Faculty of Architect from Thailand, Mayco Naing – photography artist from Myanmar and Kriz Channyein, a filmmaker graduated from Nanyang Technological University, School of Art, Design and Media in Singapore.

Public programming includes Artist Talk, Curator presentation and Art Forum with the Lecturers Dr. Aung Min (Art writer & Screenwriter), Htein Lin (Artist & writer), Nathalie Johnston (Art historian & Art space director) will discuss with moderator Zoncy (Artist & Journalist). Special Guest: Ms. Pichaya Aime Suphawanij (Head Curator of Bangkok Art & Culture Centre – BACC) will attend and give a talk.


Melting Boundary is curated by Aung Myat Htay and organized with the support of the The Japan Foundation Asia Center.

It is one of 12 local exhibits organized this month around Southeast Asia Cities as part of the Condition Report project.
